I recently had the opportunity to drive the 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE to attend the WAPA Rally at Herrington Harbour. WOW!!! This is NOT your college Corolla, it is the first-ever hybrid Corolla! The Toyota design team upped their game and created a compact car that is a step above all others in its class. In fact, it looks like and handles like luxury car, but that's Toyota for you! A-game, always!

I drove the 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE from Griffin, Ga., to Washington, D.C., and then to the Chesapeake Bay region of Maryland. The leg room was ample, the seats were comfortable and the controls were easily accessible. The best part of my journey ... fuel economy!

The 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE - 60.2MPG!

When it comes to "Let's Go Places," the Monroney sticker indicted 53 MPG combined city and highway. I got 60.2 MPG, and have a photo to prove it! In addition, I spent under $30 at the pump to fill up! Two tanks full, plus $8.00 was all I needed for my round-trip and sightseeing journey of 1578 miles. With this kind of fuel economy, "Let's Go MORE Places!"

The 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid LE handled well in city traffic, accelerated effectively when I needed it to do so on the highway, and handled like a charm in rainy drizzle when the roads are the slickest. It even stopped on a dime when a deer decided to cross the road in front of me.
