The 2022 Georgia Logistics Summit.

The logistics industry is responsible for one of out every nine jobs in Georgia. In 2021, the total sales impact of logistics industries was $83.4 billion, which is about 7% of the state’s total sales. 

Last month, I had the honor of photographing the 2022 Georgia Logistics Summit.  The sold-out program was held in Macon and drew attendees from across the Southeast. 

Created in 2009 to bring together all aspects of the logistics industry, the Georgia Logistics Summit, has grown to become one of the Southeast’s most important logistics and supply chain-centered events.  It is hosted annually by the Georgia Center of Innovation, a strategic arm of the Georgia Department of Economic Development (GDEcD). 

This year’s discussions focused on workforce, hiring, and the impact of digital technologies. Highlights below:
