Exciting Ford Reveals at the Largest Auto Show in North America
First staged in
1901, the Chicago Auto Show is the largest auto show in North America and has
been held more times than any other auto exposition on the continent. This year
marks the 117th edition of the Chicago Auto Show. There is still have time to go, as it ends on
February 17th at 8pm.
Held in
McCormick Place, the Chicago show features multiple world and North American
Introductions and the complete range of domestic and imported passenger cars,
trucks, sport-utility vehicles, minivans, and experimental and concept cars.
In total, the
2025 Chicago Auto Show boasts hundreds of different vehicles from more than two
dozen different manufacturers. In addition, you'll find numerous automotive
accessories and auto-related exhibits, competition vehicles, project cars,
antique and collector vehicles, and interactive exhibits.

featuring some exciting new vehicles. Here
is an overview of what on is on display at the Ford stand:
- Mustang GTD Spirit of America -- Mustang GTD Spirit of
America honors America's spirit of ingenuity and perseverance and 60 years
of Mustang achievement, from its first win at the 1964 Tour de
France Automobile to becoming the first car from an American
brand to lap the famed Nürburgring in less than 7 minutes. Twin
painted racing stripes mimic Mustang's iconic Tribar logo from 1964 and
honor Mustang's racing history, including its most recent win at
the 2025 Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Mustang GTD Spirit of America
comes standard with the Performance package, a unique interior color
scheme, and features exposed carbon fiber aerodynamic elements and
unique exterior details, including a bright "MUSTANG" wordmark
on the underside of the rear wing.

- First-Ever Mustang RTR - Expanding the Mustang performance
portfolio, Ford is combining Mustang Dark Horse hardware, RTR styling, and
lessons learned from multiple Formula Drift Championships to create the
most exciting Mustang EcoBoost ever. The Mustang RTR is only the second
time in Mustang history that a high-performance model has been
co-created with an outside partner and offered from the factory. This
preview features a one-off body wrap inspired by naval camouflage and
designed by RTR.
- Ford Police Interceptor Utility – Part of America's
best-selling police vehicle lineup is on patrol, shipping to law
enforcement agencies now, including the standard hybrid powertrain which
can help save agencies ~40% reduction in fuel consumption vs. ICE.
Advanced technology updates like Ford Police Interceptor® Utility provides
advanced safety features, such as Police Perimeter Alert and Driver Assist
Technology, to help ensure officer safety. Additionally, the Ford Pro
Upfit Integration System and Ford Pro Telematics offer enhanced customization
and fleet management capabilities. Overall, the Ford Police Interceptor®
Utility provides a holistic solution to meet the diverse challenges faced
by modern policing agencies.
- All New Expedition & Expedition Tremor – The all-new 2025 Ford
Expedition lineup of full-size SUVs are designed to offer
uncompromising capability and versatility to big active families who lead
big active lives. With seating for up to eight, the all-new
Expedition is fully redesigned to help our customers and their
families make the most of every minute together. Expedition's new Ford
Splitgate, 24-inch panoramic display and the integration of Ford's
new Digital experience are just a few examples of how the newest generation
of Expedition delivers new innovative features, advanced technology,
and improved capability. The all-new Expedition Tremor is made
for adventure-seeking families that start their journey where the pavement
ends. With four-wheel drive, underbody shielding, 33-inch all-terrain
tires and advanced off-road technology, and Trail 1-Pedal, Expedition
Tremor is the most off-road capable Expedition ever.
- Bronco Stroppe Edition – A legendary, Baja 1000-winning
name returns to the Ford lineup for 2025 with the new Bronco
Stroppe Special Edition. A spiritual successor to the original Stroppe Baja Bronco from the 60s and 70s,
this new limited-edition Bronco pairs the desert-racing spirit of the
original with today's off-road capability to create a special
high-performance Bronco SUV. The 2025 Bronco Stroppe Special Edition
wears a modern take on the original Calypso Coral, Wimbledon White, and
Astra Blue livery of the Stroppe Baja Broncos, comes standard with a
2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, and is available exclusively with a two-door
body.
- New Bronco Sport Sasquatch – The high-performance Sasquatch
off-road package comes to the Bronco Sport for the first time.
Available for Bronco Sport Badlands and Outer Banks models, the new
Sasquatch package adds large 29-inch Goodyear Territory AT tires, steel
underbody protection with front and rear recovery points, Bilstein rear
shock absorbers, new technology and more. The Sasquatch package has
unmistakable Bronco style and capability with new modular, accessory-ready
steel front and rear bumpers, an available interior grab handle and
auxiliary switches, revised wheel designs, and new fender tie-downs for
hauling gear
- Bronco Built Wild Track: For the Chicago show, we have added
two new fun obstacles to drive Broncos over:
Tilt Ridge: A
fan-favorite at ORV parks, this thrilling obstacle features a steep 20-degree
approach and departure, testing driver precision with a surprise tilt-over
finish that's sure to captivate riders and spectators alike.
Rock Crawl:
This modular obstacle demonstrates Bronco's Rock
Crawl GOAT mode, Trail Control, and front trail camera at low speeds.
It showcases Bronco's ability to conquer challenging terrain with
impressive articulation and real-time trail cam visibility.
- Maverick Lobo – Inspired by the lowered truck era from the mid-1980s
to the early 2000s and Maverick customers already personalizing their
trucks for performance, Maverick Lobo is the performance street truck
version of the Maverick, bringing a unique design and value to urban
streets. Engineered for on-road performance, it comes with the 2.0-liter
four-wheel drive engine with a seven-speed quick shift transmission and
has upgrades such as a twin-clutch rear drive unit, enhanced brakes,
performance tuned steering, on-road tuned suspension, lowered ride height,
and specially tuned springs and shocks with a new Lobo drive mode meant
for closed courses, which improves cornering performance, grip, and
stability, helping to minimize understeer.
- Mustang Mach-E Rally – first-ever rallycross-inspired EV from Ford
brings Mustang freedom and fun to dirt roads. It will still have the dirt
flecked tires from its excursion across 1,500 miles of stunning
Nevada and California desert. The Mustang Mach-E Rally joins the Mustang
Mach-E family and charts a unique course for electric vehicles. (assets)
- Team Rubicon Powered by Ford: Ford and Ford Philanthropy
building on our longstanding relationship with Team Rubicon, a veteran-led
humanitarian organization. This five-year commitment includes a dedicated
fleet of 17 vehicles, a philanthropic investment, and an employee
volunteer effort totaling $5.8 million in investments.
- The SupportBelt, a device designed and validated by Ford, is the
first OEM-manufactured seatbelt accessory designed to help mastectomy
patients drive more comfortably on the road to recovery. Using a soft,
breathable foam, the SupportBelt reduces pressure and discomfort
caused by seatbelts rubbing against the patient's surgical wounds. It can
be used on both driver and passenger sides of the vehicle and is being
offered at no cost to patients across the United States. Ford intends to

In 2025, Ford
continues to broaden consumers' options, solidifying its leadership in gas
vehicle lines with its best-selling trucks and vans, while also accelerating
sales of its electric and hybrid vehicles to new records.
- Total Ford electrified vehicle
sales (hybrid, plug-in hybrid and electric) hit a record 285,291 this year
– up 38%, outselling GM and Stellantis' electrified vehicles for the full
year.
- Ford's
Power Promise, a program which includes a complimentary home charger
with standard installation at no extra charge and access to a 24/7 Ford
advisor for electric vehicle support, helped boost Ford electric vehicle
sales in Q4 to a new best-ever electric vehicle sales record with 30,176
electric vehicles sold. Ford is extending the Ford Power Promise complimentary
home charger and standard installation into the new year to build on the
momentum of record sales growth.
- Ford No. 1 in hybrid trucks with an
estimated 76% segment share and No. 2 U.S. electric vehicle brand
- F-Series remains America's
best-selling truck for 48th straight year
